Hubert F. Pawlak, age 91 of Glen Ellyn, IL, formerly of Dyer, IN and South Chicago, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
He is survived by his loving wife, Therese (nee Mallette); daughters: Lois (Michael) Hitchcock, Frances Torres, Claire (Fumio) Adachi and Michele Pawlak; grandchildren: Yoshio and Miki Adachi, Christopher, Ashley and Jonathan Hitchcock, and Jared Torres; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. from the Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, 1920 Hart Street, Dyer, IN for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph, Dyer, IN with Rev. Terry Steffens officiating.
Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL. Visitation will be Monday, April 5, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. (prayer service at 7:00 p.m.) at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at The Meadows of Glen Ellyn, 60 Nicoll Way, Glen Ellyn, IL.
Mr. Pawlak was retired from Commonwealth Edison, State Line Station, after 41 years of service. He was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Navy, Submarine Service. www.fagenmiller.com
