Alton Thomas Hall, 16, son of Mr. & Mrs. T.H. Hall of Gaffney, route 3, died at the home of his parents near the Cowpens Battleground Thursday morning after a short illness.
He was born and reared in that part of the county and is survived by his parents; and five brothers, Gary Hall of Cowpens, route 1, Clayton Hall and L.T. Hall of Converse, Clarence Hall and Wilburn Hall of Gaffney, route 3; and four sisters, Mrs. Florence Fain of Converse, Mrs. Virginia Parris of Cowpens, route 1; and Misses Ida Hall and Dorothy Hall, both of Gaffney, route 3.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Piedmont Baptist church at 3:#0 o'clock Sunday afternoon by the Rev. C.H. Simms, the Rev. Glenn Felmet and the Rev. E.W. Buckner. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
