John and Rachel were married about 1835 and had the following Children:
Martha Jane Pruit-Donnell-Dickerson
James L. Pruit
Samuel Thomas Pruit
Nancy Adeline Pruit-Snowden-Smith
Mary E. Pruit-Evans
John Dave Pruit
Sarah E. Pruit-Williams
Amanda A. Pruit
Marion C. Pruit
Charlotte E. Pruit
My grandfather, Chester Pruit, said his g-grandparents, John "Thomas" Pruit and Rachel Adeline Wylie, died in Anderson County, Texas. He thought they were buried in the Kickapoo area.
A listing made by Contributor Wayne Smith in the Myrtle Springs Cemetery of Henderson County Texas seems to be our Rachel A. (Wylie) Pruit.
There is a possibility that her husband, John, is buried in Myrtle Springs in an unmarked grave. Will continue to research this information but for now, I'll leave the original listing I made for John Pruit per my Grandfather's information.
