Felix O. Humphreys, 78, of 114 W. College av., died in Mercy Hospital at 5:30 a.m. Monday following a prolonged illness. He was a life-long resident of Clark County.
He was born in Clark County, January 1, 1890, the son of Alfred E. and Jessie Minnick Humphrey.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of New Carlisle, and was associated with the Oliver Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Amy, of Springfield; a daughter, Mrs. David (Nancy) Roberts, of Lebanon; a sister, Miss Mary Humphrey, of Springfield and four grandchildren.
His body was taken to the Richards Memorial Home where private services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Cremation will follow.
The family will receive friends at the memorial home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The casket will remain closed.
