Evelyn L. Bevier, 94, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, February 20, 2002, in Port Huron Hospital. She was born November 23, 1907 in Detroit to the late Charles and Emma (Ahles) Green. Mrs. Bevier retired from Prestolite Wire Company. She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter #99 and American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8 Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Mr. & Mrs. Ralph (Diane) Hodgins of St Clair and Mr. & Mrs. Frank (Jean) Moeller of Algonquin, IL; a son, Mr. & Mrs. Patrick (Arleen) Livingston of Port Huron; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Josephine Green of Port Huron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Bevier; a son, Jackie Livingston; two sisters, Eleanor Ronan, and Viola Hansen; and a brother, Charles Green. Funeral services were held at 11:00 am Friday, February 22, 2002 in Pollock Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph T. Barteld officiated. Burial was in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Mrs. Bevier's grandsons served as pallbearers.
