Funeral services for William Mason Simmons, who died Thursday, January 31, 1952, in the Winnfield General Hospital were conducted at the Friendship Baptist Church Saturday, February 2. Judge Cas Moss conducted the services assisted by the Rev. E. B. Barton and Rev. Calvin Robinson.

Masonic rites were held at the graveside by Eastern Star Lodge No. 151 F. & A. M. of Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Grady Simmons, Shirley Simmons, Kermit Crain, Kermit M. Simmons, Fred Tucker, and C. M. Martin. The other grandsons were honorary pallbearers.

Surviving are W. V. Simmons, Mrs. John T. Martin of West Monroe, Mrs. W. A. Crain of Fellowship Community, Mrs. E. C. Gates and Guy Simmons of Dodson, Route 1, Horace Simmons, Jack Simmons, and Pierce Simmons, all of Shreveport, and K. C. Simmons, who is principal of the Dodson High School.

Edmonds Funeral Home was in charge.
