Sherry Ann Vick, 30, of Vivian was killed about 1:55 a.m. July 3 in Shreveport when the car she was driving ran off the road in 220 block of Grimmett Drive, struck a culvert and turned over.
Mrs. Vick was pronounced dead at the scene by investigating officers. Her death was the eight traffic fatality in Shreveport this year.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vick were held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the McGuire Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev Ray Lewis Knight of Houston, Texas and the Rev. Dewey Young of Vivian officiated. Burial was in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
A native of Vivian, Mrs. Vick was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Vivian.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Vick; two daughters, Tammy Lawrence and Karla Vick; Her mother and step-father, Mr. & Mrs. James H. Burns; two sisters, Mrs. Betty Terry and Mrs. Billie Alexander all of Vivian.
