Elmer J. Muellenbach, 61, of 2312 Pleasant St., New Holstein, died Sunday May 4, at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, after a short illness.

He was born March 21, 1919 in the town of Brothertown, a son of Nicholas and Katherine Steiner Muellenbach.
He married Laura Pickart August 26, 1947 at Mount Calvary. They farmed in the town of Brothertown until retirement earlier this year. Mr. Muellenbach was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Charlesburg, and the Holy Name Society.

Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Debra Ann of Chilton; one son, Thomas of Madison; three sisters, Mrs. Sylvester Rollmann of Route 4, Chilton, Mrs. Glendon Libke of New Holstein, Mrs. Vincent Woelfel of Phoenix, Arizona, and one brother, Alfred of New Holstein. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

A funeral Mass was offered at St. Charles Catholic Church, Charlesburg. The Rev. William Eberhardy was celebrant of the Mass.
Burial was in the parish cemetery.
