AIRMAN MISSING IN AFRICAN AREA

FLIGHT ENGINEER ENLISTED A YEAR AGO

Pfc John A. Gluszek, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Gluszek, 409 Clinton Street, Army Air Corps engineer has been missing in the North Africa Area since Nov. 26, according to word received by relatives from the War Department.

Pfc. Gluszek enlisted Jan. 9 and received his training at Ft. Niagara, Jefferson Barracks, Dyersburg, Tenn., and Brookley Field, Mobile, Alabama. He married Carrie McCullor, Medina, who makes her home with his parents in this city.

A brother, Sgt. Andrew Gluszek, 26, is in the Mediterranean Area where he participated in the invasion of Africa, Sicily, and Italy. The two brothers have sent many souvenirs home to relatives.
