Jacob and Elisabeth had twelve children:David H., Jonathan H., Christian D., Joel H., Anna, Mary H., Jacob H., Barbara, Joseph H., Benjamin H., Elizabeth H., and John Irwin Detweiler. Jacob Detweiler is one of five generations of Detweilers buried in the Detweiler Family Cemetery.
