Vivian E Gould, 87, of Kohlersburg Road, New Bethlehem, RD 2, Mahoning Township, Armstrong County, died at 7:10 pm Sunday, November 28. 1993 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.

Born September 1, 1906 in Deanville, Madison Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Jack and Belle (Turney) Griffin.

She married James A Gould on March 5, 1927. He survives.

Viv, a homemaker, was a member of the Oakland Church of God in Distant. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Survivors include her husband and one son, James A Gould Jr of Kittanning and eight grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, John Gould; six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 11 am today (Wednesday) at the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn, with the Rev. Clarence Dillon, her pastor, officiating.

Interment followed in the family plot at Oakland Cemetery, Distant, Armstrong County.
