Born September 1, 1906 in Deanville, Madison Township, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of Jack and Belle (Turney) Griffin.
She married James A Gould on March 5, 1927. He survives.
Viv, a homemaker, was a member of the Oakland Church of God in Distant. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her husband and one son, James A Gould Jr of Kittanning and eight grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and a son, John Gould; six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 11 am today (Wednesday) at the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn, with the Rev. Clarence Dillon, her pastor, officiating.
Interment followed in the family plot at Oakland Cemetery, Distant, Armstrong County.
