In Loving Memory of Hildreth "Dave" Crockett

Hildreth "Dave" Crockett, 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Rosedale, Carter County, KY on June 14, 1925 to Drew and Hattie (Whitt) Crockett. "Dave" was retired from Dan's Truck Refrigeration and was a WWII Navy Veteran.
He is survived by his 3 sisters, Betty Clark of Ashland, KY, Joyce (Bill) Allen of Ashland, KY and Sue Wallace of Grayson, KY; son, Ken Crockett of Grayson, KY; daughter, Diana Schmidlin of Curtice, OH; daughter-in-law, Judy Crockett of Toledo, OH; 5 grandchildren: Ken (Sue) Crockett of Toledo, OH, Kelly (Eric) Nunley of Grayson, KY, Kraig (Sharon) Crockett of Celina, OH, John "Butch" Schmidlin of Curtice, OH, Jeffery Schmidlin of Oregon, OH and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; parents; brother, Kenneth Crockett and grandson, Mark Schmidlin.
Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of N.W. Ohio.
