She was born on April 24, 1954 in Monroe County to Ben Barrick and Colleen Barrick. Cheryl worked at the I.U. Credit Union and assisted her husband Tim in operating the family business, Crafton Plumbing. She was a member of the Highland Village Church of Latter Day Saints where she volunteered her time in the Ladies Relief Society and the Genealogy Library. Cheryl was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #223, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary; Post #18 and the Shriners Murat Temple. She was a loving Mother and Daughter and will be sadly missed.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ben Barrick and husband of 22 years, Timothy Crafton (Nov. 9, 2009).
Cheryl is survived by her children, Jamie Crafton of Martinsville, Jared Crafton (Jessica) of Bloomington, Ben Crafton of Martinsville, Aaron Crafton of Indianapolis, and Staci Jackson (Chad) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Chase, Grace, Jaydon and Savannah; sister, Janis Lea Richardson of Hilton Head, SC.; sister-in-law, Sandra Crafton of Bloomington; brother-in-law, Dr. Lonnie Crafton of Melbourne, FL; aunts and uncles, Anita Mull (Ferris), Lloyd Myers (Jane), Novella Bickers and Jim Myers (Loretta); and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Highland Village Church of Latter Day Saints on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may call upon the family at Chandler Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
