Martin McKay Patterson, 44, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, in Tallahassee, Florida. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Bevis Funeral Home Chapel in Tallahassee, Florida, with burial at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. EDT Monday, April 13, 2009, Bevis Funeral Home. Martin was a native and lifelong resident of Tallahassee. He was a computer technician with Kids Incorporated and with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission since 2001. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Melinda Patterson of Tallahassee; two daughters, Taylor Patterson of Tallahassee, and Kyle Patterson of Crawfordville; two step-sons, Jacob and Jonathan Gray, both of Tallahassee; his mother, Marginell Price Patterson of Thomasville, Ga.; a brother, Scott Patterson of N.C.; and two sisters, Amy Patterson-McPherson of Thomasville, Ga., and Carrie Patterson Guyton of Gainesville, Ga. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Patterson.
