'400' Engineer Describes Crash Fatal to Two Men.
Menomonie (Special).
Two elderly rural Menomonie men were killed instantly when their car was struck by the North Wetern '400' passenger train at a crossing about three miles west of here early Monday morning.
Morris Lunke, 78, Rt.1, Menomonie, and Albert Larson, 79, Rt.6, Menomonie, were killed instantly in the collision, which scattered bits of Lunke's car along more than a half mile of track.

Services will be held for Albert C. Larson, a paggenger in the car, also of Rt. 6, city, at 2:30p.m. Friday at the Olson Funeral Home here.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday until time of the services.
Mr. Larson, also a long time Dunn County farmer, is survived by a sister, Mrs. George Jacobs, and a brother, Oscar, both of Menomonie.
The rites will be conducted by the Rev. L.G. Foll oft(sic...of) he(sic..the) Seventh Day Adventists church and burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
