Sandy Kay Morris, 43, of 1341 East Main Street, passed away at 11:07 AM, Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at her residence.
Born July 9, 1964 in Charlottesville, she was a daughter of James Elwood Morris of Baltimore, Maryland and Mary Margaret Collier Morris of Charlottesville.
Prior to her illness, she was employed in the hospitality department of Sleep Inn Motel.
She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Morris and a brother, Buster Shifflet.
Survivors include her children, Stephanie Morris of Waynesboro, Maricela Loya of Waynesboro, Tomas McCoy Loya of Crozet, Bianca Morris of Crozet, Jesus "Tiny" Morris of Crozet, her brothers and sisters, Tracy "Dale" Robertson of Waynesboro, Diane Morris of Orange, Connie Augello of Florida, Ed Shifflett of Greene County, Joanne Shifflet of Greene County, Virginia Snow, of Staunton and Sheila Shifflet of Greene Co., three grandchildren, Luis Reyes, Yasmine Loya and Jamie Loya, special friends, Nickolas Villescas of Timberville, Sherry Maddox, Prentice "Pete" Brown Morris, Jr., Sharon Drumheller and Barbara Morales.
She also leaves her beloved collie mix, "Chubs."
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes by Pastor Joseph Snodgrass. Burial will follow in Rockgate Cemetery in Crozet.
Active pallbearers will be Jesus Morris, Jesus "Tiny" Morris, McCoy Loya, Edward Moses, Nicholas Barrell and Warren "Hubba" Wood.
