Charles Benjamin Woodson, died at his home at 1015 North Monroe Street, Peoria, IL, September 25, 1917. He was the janitor of Greeley School for twelve years and suffered a stroke in the basement of the school.

Mr. Woodson was born September 28, 1861 in Macomb, Illinois. However, he has been a resident of Peoria almost all his life.

He was the son of Samuel D. Woodson and Rebecca E. Wolfe Woodson.

Charles married Henrietta Catherine Reinmann Woodson March 9, 1881 in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois.
