Heather Renee Powell, Garfield Street, New Bethlehem, died Wednesday, May 23, 1979 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, 12 hours after her birth.
She was born May 22, 1979 in the same hospital, a daughter of Mark J and Ruthie Shoemaker Powell.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Blair Powell of New Bethlehem and her maternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Herbert Shoemaker of Distant.
Funeral services were conducted at 10 am Friday in the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn, with the Rev. David R Skinner, pastor of the First Baptist Church, New Bethlehem, officiating.
Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery, Distant.
