Services for Doris M. Auker, 77, of Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Marocco Funeral Chapel.
She died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2005, in WoodBridge Health Campus.
Born Feb. 25, 1928, in Winamac, she was the daughter of Bert and Hazel Swartzell Reames. She was married Sept. 25, 1946, to Eugene Auker, who preceded in death.
A 1945 graduate of Pulaski County High School, Mrs. Auker retired in 1981 as a qualified medical assistant from Logansport State Hospital.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah K. Landes, Logansport; one son, Donald E. Auker, Logansport; two grandsons, Troy A. Landes, Logansport, and Scott E. Auker, Georgetown; two granddaughters, Heidi L. Auker and Wendy L. Hildebrand, both of Logansport; a stepgranddaughter, Samantha Brown, Logansport; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey Hildebrand and Reagan Hildebrand, both of Logansport; one brother, Robert E. Reames, Englewood, Fla.; three nieces, Melissa, Laura and Pamela; and two nephews, Kelly and Robert II.
The Rev. Charles Armstrong will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Pro Cemetery, Pulaski County.
