David W. Stark, 52, 1729 Chelsea Drive, died Sunday in a Topeka hospital, where he was admitted Saturday. He had a heart attack.
He was born Jan. 27, 1917, in Topeka, where he spent most of his life. He was a veteran of World war II. He was district manager for Libby, McNeill and Libby, and had been employed by the company 18 years.
He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Fairlawn Optimist Club and Allied Food Club.
He was married to Betty Hoehner in May, 1946.
Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Carol Ann Stark, at home; a sister, Mrs. Carolyn Gentry, 1331 Plass, and a brother, Don Stark, Sarasota, Fla.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wall Diffenderfer Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Stark will lie in state at the mortuary from 6 p.m. Monday until time of services.
