Geraldine A. Adams, 82, Brainerd, died Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. She was born April 20, 1921, in Brainerd to Robert L. and Agnes M. (Dubey) Bogganstos. She married John S. Adams on Aug. 6, 1940, in Vallejo, Calif. They owned and operated the original Starlite Club in Baxter for 20 years during the 1950s and 1960s. She entered Brainerd Manor in 2002. She was a member of the Eagles, VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Adams, Isle, and John Adams, Brainerd; a daughter, Kristine Dieter, Brainerd; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband; two sisters, Edith Ray and Eva Squires; and two infant brothers, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Dwight Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.
