Gary Steven Boehm, 64, of Highland Village, passed away, March 30, 2010 following a courageous battle with cancer. Gary was born in Oakland, CA on June 29, 1945 to Werner and Hazel Boehm. He married Betty Olmstead August 9, 1964 in Warren, IL. Gary worked as a Computer programmer for IDI Cybor, Inc. Gary also worked as the music director for the First Baptist Church in Warren, IL, Berean Baptist Church, Rockford, IL and Temple Baptist Church in Lewisville, TX, and was a current member of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Joy Baker Boehm and son, Jason A. Boehm. Gary is survived by his wife married 9 Aug. 1964 in Warren, IL., Betty Olmstead Boehm of Highland Village, TX, father, Werner W. Boehm of Carrollton, TX, sons, Heath A. Boehm of Lake Dallas, TX and Jarod A. Abdallah-Boehm of Bayfield, CO; sisters, Terri L. Boehm of Oklahoma, Beverly Hines of Bedford, TX and Gail White of Tempe, AZ; brothers, William C Boehm of Rockford, IL, Raymond E. Boehm of Flower Mound, TX and Jonathon W. Boehm of Pecatonica, IL and five grandchildren, Drew T. Boehm, Berman A. Abdallah-Boehm, Chad M. Boehm, Aidyn B. Abdallah-Boehm and Myrah B. Abdallah-Boehm.
