Mr. Louis L. Phillips, 63, beloved husband of Mrs. Rachel Phillips, of Dearing, Georgia, entered into rest Thursday, April 1, 2010, in the Atlanta Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 3, in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Upchurch and Mr. Ed Henderson officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery. Mr. Phillips was a native of Columbia Co., but had lived in Dearing for many years. He was a Maintenance Mechanic for Thermal Ceramics, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachel Phillips, Dearing; his two sons, Andy Phillips, Michael Phillips, both of Dearing; his two sisters, Ann Hickle, Louise Reese, both of Thomson; his brother, Herman L. Phillips, Dearing; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews.
