Aaron Eaton was born in Coleman Michigan on January 23, 1900 to Andrew and Bertha Rhoden Eaton. Aaron was their second child, his sister Effie preceeded him in death as a toddler before her brother was born. He came to California with his parents in 1918, living first in Los Angeles, then moving to Baldwin Park California in 1920.
On July 14, 1920 he was united in marriage to Ruth Walters at the home of her parents, William and Alwilda Long Walters. They resided on their homestead for all of their married life where they raised their children: Vera Mae, Clarence Russell, Mildred Erlene, Lester Leland, Evelyn Ruth, Lois Marie and Veta Ilene. He was preceded in death by his son Clarence and his daughter Mildred.
Aaron worked on his farm, and worked as a bookkeeper, a janitor, bus driver and transportation supervisor for the Baldwin Park school district from 1936 until his retirement in 1965.
He was also active in his church, Whittier Church of God. He undertook the refurbishing of the Hymnal racks in the sanctuary by himself, rebuilding and enlarging them for the new hymnals .
Aaron and his wife Ruth were members of the Buena Park Pioneers trailer club and had wonderful adventures all over with their fellow travelers.
Aaron is survived by his five children, 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. And a multitude of friends and acquaintances .
