A Funeral Service for Murphy M. Delcambre, 74, will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 10:00AM at Harvest Time Tabernacle in Abbeville with Rev. Robert Wells Officiating. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville Sunday, July 16, 2006 from 10:00AM until 10:00PM and will resume on Monday, July 17, 2006 from 8:00AM until Services. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery of Abbeville.
Mr. Delcambre a native of Delcambre and a resident of Abbeville died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at 2:45AM at Abbeville. He was an avid Hunter, fisherman, and liked cooking and telling stories. He also served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife Hilda Racca Delcambre of Abbeville; three sons, Alfred "Dale" Delcambre of Kaplan, David Charles Delcambre of New Iberia, and Murphy Paul Delcambre of Kaplan; three daughters, Donna Faye of Delcambre, Laurie Hughes of Abbeville, and Mary Beth Delcambre of Lafayette; three sisters, Myrtle Sue Viator of Abbeville, Velma Mills of Perry, and Jeanette Winch of Pecan Island; thirteen Grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

He is Preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Delcambre and Emerite Segura Delcambre; his sister, Thelma Cox

Pallbearers will be Alfred "Dale" Delcambre, David Charles Delcambre, Murphy Paul Delcambre, Marty Joseph Domingue, Jr., Damion Paul Domingue, Jacob Dale Delcambre.

Honorary pallbearers will be Derrian Joseph Hughes, Michelle Nichole Domingue, Amber Irene Delcambre, Megan Louise Delcambre, Samatha Ann Hughes, Alyssia Monigue Hughes, Aiden Paul Delcambre, Kristy Renee Domingue, Jessica Walls, Brian Choate.
