Ronald R. Schroeder, 78 of Beecher, IL, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at St. James Manor.
Mr. Schroeder was born on May 3 1931 in Grant Park, IL. To Arno Schroeder and Amanda nee Meyer Schroeder.
He married his loving wife Ardith nee Stoeven on November 3, 1951 in Beecher. Ron is survived by his wife, 2 children, Stacey (Nicholas) Grutzius, Steven (Linda) Schroeder. 1 brother and 1 sister also survive, Elaine Schoenwald, Elvern (Ida) Schroeder. 6 grandchildren; Greg, Justin, Jennifer, Eric, Alex, Zachary and 2 great grandchildren Isabelle and Oriana.
Ronald sat on the Beecher village board as well as holding many church offices. He worked as a salesman for Wonderbread as well as working at Dixie Dairy, Sears Automotive and the Monee Reservoir.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 5, 2010, from 5-8 p.m. at Hack Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday April 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Beecher, IL.
Burial will be in Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church of Beecher.
