On December 19, 2007, Jane (Buzby) Parker, age 90, formerly a lifetime resident of Rancocas, NJ, went home to be with her beloved husband, Irwin C. Parker, who preceded her in death in 1985.
Those who knew Jane will always remember her
infectious smile and laughter. Her proudest and happiest moments were spent watching her grandsons, Kevin and Shaun, play T-Ball in the backyard in Rancocas, "Parker's Field", CYO baseball, Babe Ruth baseball, High School and College baseball and then see her grandson Shaun go on to play for the New York Yankees Minor League.
She was a Bell Telephone operator in Burlington City in the 1940's, where she met her husband Irv, who was a police officer for the City of Burlington. She was a member of Beverly Maqueda Chapter #276, O.E.S., where she served as Past Matron. Jane was a former Registrar of Vital Statistics in Westampton and the former President of Westampton Township Public Schools P.T.A.
She is survived by her son, I.E. (Dusty) Parker and his wife Patty of Westampton; a daughter, Charlene Parker-Sanders of Hamilton, NJ, (Mercer County); two wonderful grandsons, Kevin L.
Parker and Shaun J. Parker, both of Mount Holly; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn E. Parker of Eastampton and great grandson, Anthony Parker of Riverside.
A viewing will be held Sunday, December 23rd from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Chapel of the Masonic Home, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her
memory to the Masonic Home Foundation, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016.
Arrangements are under the direction of the PAGE FUNERAL HOME, Burlington.
