George M. Fetchko, 90, of Cementon entered into eternal rest on August 22, 2007 in his home. George and his wife Anna (Latzko) Fetchko would have been married 61 years in March. Born in Cementon, he was the son of the late John and Mary ( Mudrick) Fetchko, who were also from Cementon. George worked 35 years for Bethlehem Steel Corp. He served in the Army during World War II. George was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, since birth. He enjoyed gardening, photography and spending time with his loving family.
Survivors: Wife; sons, John Fetchko and his companion, Donna Jani, of Cementon, George Fetchko and his wife, Fran, of Northampton, Peter Fetchko and his wife, Carol, of North Whitehall; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Fetchko, Amanda (Fetchko) Swain, Jude Fetchko, Rebecca Fetchko, Nicholas Fetchko, Andrew Fetchko and Nicole Fetchko; three great- grandchildren, Gage and Therese Swain and Haley Lay; brother, Stephen Fetchko and his wife, Marlene, of Palmerton; sister, Veronica, wife of Don Anderson, of Allentown.
