DELILAH C. BAKER
Mrs. Baker, 96, of New Enterprise RD died unexpectedly at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb 3, 1986, in the home of her daughter, Delphine Gates.
She was born Jun 21, 1890, in New Enterprise RD, the daughter of John G. and Emma (Burger ) Koontz, and May 30, 1914, in New Enterprise, married Sherman H. Baker, who died Nov 19, 1971.
Surviving are five children: Emma Foor, LaDonna Reffner and Mrs. Gates of New Enterprise, RD, Allen J. of Loysburg and Alma Gragen of Everett RD 2; 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and Five great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters; Annie Davis of New Enterprise RD, Lillian King of Woodbury and Alma Henry of Martinsburg.
Mrs. Baker was a member of the Koontz Church of the Brethren, New Enterprise RD.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, and 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the Koontz Church of the Brethren.
BAKER — Services for Delilah C. Baker of New Enterprise RD will be held at II a.m. Thursday in the Koontz Church of the Brethren, by the Rev. Daniel Ringgold and the Rev. Louis Bloom.
Interment in Koontz Church Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, and 10 a.m. until time of services Thursday in the church.
