PORT HURON - Rosetta L Navoni, 62, of 1324 Seventh St., died Sunday, April 10, 1983, in Port Huron Hospital, after a long illness.
She was born May 23, 1920, in Grand Rapids. She had lived in Port Huron 25 years. She married Arthur Nowall in 1936. She married Frank F Navoni Sept 6, 1958 in Port Huron. He died July 30, 1982.
Mrs. Navoni was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Port Huron.
She is survived by a daughter, Artice K Nowall; a son, Nicholas F. Navoni; two grandsons, Nicholas F Navoni II and Michael W Navoni, all of Port Huron; three sisters, Evelyn Inbody, Holt, Gladys Cantwell, Haslett, and Ilene Williams, Charlotte; and a brother, John Smith, Clovis, Calif. Her parents died earlier. A brother, Vern Smith, died March 1977.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Johnnie R Johnson, pastor of the Assembly of God Church, Port Huron, will officate. Burial will be in the Christian Memorial Cemetery, Cultural Center, Peck.
Visiting is from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
