Arlington - Alton C. "Hoot" Morales, 87, a retired farmer, lost his brave battle with cancer, Saturday March 9, 2002, at his daughter's home in Trophy Club, Texas, surrounded by family.
Funeral: 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel.
Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park.

He was a member of Tate Springs Baptist church. He was born March 14, 1914, in Pantego, TX to Arch Newdelphia and Jencie Ellen McClaine Morales. He had been a resident of the Handley area his entire life.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter Kimberly Crowson Norton, and great-grandchildren Adam Norton and Christine Schroeder.

Survivors: Wife of 64 years, Frances Kuykendall Morales of Arlington; Son Alton Ray Morales and wife Ruby Jean of Chico, TX; Daughters: LaNell Langley and husband Harold of Rhome, TX, Martha Jackson and husband Robert of Houston, TX, Ann Hansen and husband Robert of Rhome, TX, Katherine Brooks and husband Fred of Trophy Club, TX and Pam Fuller of Rowlette, TX; Brothers Jack Morales, Arch Morales, Ardie Jordan, all of Arlington TX; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
