Mrs. Stringer Dies Following Long Illness
Washington Woman Was at Home of Son in Bickness

Mrs. Margaret Jane Stringer, 65, wife of Harvey Stringer of 1003 Downey avenue, died at 6:10 o'clock Monday night at the home of her son, Harley, in Bicknell.
Death of Mrs. Stringer came after a lingering illness, and she had been in the home of her son at Bicknell for the past five weeks.
Born on February 18, 1872, at French Lick, the deceased was a daughter of John and Margaret Ellen Stockinger.
Surviving are the husband and following children, Sadie Ashby and Harley Stringer of Bicknell, Mrs. Hazel Schuck and Everett Stringer of Washington, Mrs Blanche Misner of Columbus, Ind. and Mrs Opal VanBlaricum. A niece and nephew also survive.
The body was returned to the home in Washington this afternoon, and will remain there until the hour of the funeral.
Services have been arranged for Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wesley Memorial church, with Rev. George Peel to have charge, assisted by Rev. Rowboat.
Burial will be made in Oak Grove cemetery. Ives Poindexter will have charge of the funeral.
