MUNFORDVILLE - Daymon Leon Horton Sr., 68, of Munfordville died at 11:05 a.m. Sept. 28, 2006, at his home. The Hart County native was a former employee of KY Metals. He was a son of the late Richard Horton and Kathleen Puckett Horton. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Horton. Funeral is at 11 a.m. Sunday at Landmark Apostolic Church, where he was a member, with burial in Wilkerson Temple Cemetery at Kessinger. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and begins at 9 a.m. Sunday at the church. Sego Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Adcock Horton; three sons, Doug Horton of Louisville and Mark Horton and Daymon Horton Jr., both of Munfordville; a daughter, Patricia Smith of Munfordville; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Basil Horton of Texas and Ernest Horton and Jessie and Ervin Blair, all of Brownsville; and a sister, Joyce Stivers of Cave City.
