Margaret "Granny" Jean Stingley, 82 years old, of Lafayette, IN, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 in Rosewalk Village.
She was born April 7, 1924 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the daughter of the late Frank V. Farrow and the late Helen L. Cassidy Farrow. On June 6, 1953, she married Omer A. Stingley and he preceded her in death September of 1983.
A homemaker, she attended church at Crawfordsville Prebyterian Church and she enjoyed reading the Bible.
Surviving are Daughter, Peggy Stingley of Dayton, IN; 2 Sons, David A. Farrow of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Thomas G. Stingley of Lafayette, IN; Step-son, Donnie Stingley of Lafayette, IN; Step-daughter, Phyllis Burkhart of Lafayette, IN; Sister, Eileen Alexander of Jeffersonville, IN; Several Grandchildren, and Several Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded by 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Friends will be received 2 -3 p.m. Friday, November 10 at the Fisher-Loy Funeral Chapel, Lafayette, Indiana. Services to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Carla Barker, Celebrant officiating.
