POW 4/2/1865 Petersburg, VA.; confined 4/14/1865 Point Lookout, MD.; Oath Allegiance and released 6/22/1865 Point Lookout, MD.

In 1903, his widow applied for Confederate pension on Feb 27, 1903; received $25.00 per year.

The Stafford Light Artillery was organized in August, 1861, with men recruited in Stafford County.
