Marcie Leah Reeg, Age 25 years old, of Wisner, NE died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE.
Marcie Leah Reeg was born February 22, 1985, in Wayne, NE to Jerry and Katherine (Peterson) Reeg. She attended Wayne Elementary School through the fourth grade. After moving to West Point, she attended West Point Public Schools and graduated from West Point High School in 2003. She had lived in Omaha, NE and West Point, NE and was currently residing in Wisner, NE.
She worked for Goldenrod Hills Community Action Services in Wisner and Braun Research in Stanton.
Survivors include: her son, Davon Dreager; her mother, Kathy Peterson; two sisters, Kristine Bowers and Amanda Reeg; a brother, Jeremy Reeg of Wayne; her stepmother, Robbi Reeg; her stepfather, Scott Lackas; grandparents, John and Norma Peterson and Mel and Sandy Bishop; and special friend, Tate Heller.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Reeg.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wayne. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday, all at the church. Burial followed at the Greenwood Cemetery in Wayne.
