Mrs. Maggie Billiu (nee Kuyper) was born to Hugo Kuyper and Jacoba Betten May 28, 1874. She was reared in Pella and on March 12, 1907 was married to George W. Billiu.
She passed away July 13, 1954 at the Burton Nursing Home, Indianola, Iowa at the age of 80 years, one month and 20 days.
Survivors are her daughter Margaret (Mrs. John De Kock) of Des Moines, Miss Sarah Kuyper, a sister and a brother A. C. Kuyper, both of Pella.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 14, 1954 at 4:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery. The Rev. E. V. Goad officiated and interment was in the Kuyper family plot in Graceland Cemetery.
