Sarah "Sally" (ALLEN) McCAIN BABBITT married Benjamin BABBITT on May 14, 1832 in Austin County, Texas.

Migrated to Texas(actually still part of Mexico, not a Republic at that time) on December 1828 as the wife of JAMES MC CAIN. James and Sarah had 2 boys, Abram and Jarad G. Mc Cain. James Mc Cain died in 1832.

May 14, 1833, Sarah married Benjamin BABBITT in Austin,County,Texas. She and Benjamin had 2 sons, they were Clyde C. and Jefferson Allen Babbitt.
Benjamin Babbitt is listed as one of the first Methodist Ministers in Texas.



Sarah is listed as a 'voter' on the Poll Tax List for the Republic of Texas in 1845.

Sarah outlived all four of her sons.
