Mary Elizabeth (Black) Corbett, wife of Cyrus M. Corbett, 21 South Franklin street, Waynesboro Pa., died at 9:20 a.m. Saturday at the Waynesboro Hospital. She underwent an operation two weeks ago and had recovered. She was sitting up Saturday morning when she suffered a heart attack and died suddenly. Mrs. Corbett was born at Old Orchard, Frederick County, the daughter of John W. and Lee Anna (Pfoutz) Black. For the last 37 years she lived in Waynesboro. She was a member of the First U B. church.
She is survived by her husband and daughter, Catherine Elizabeth Naugle, by a former marriage, brothers and sisters, Mrs. Jesse Bohn, Union Bridge; Mrs. Norman Stitely, Woodsboro; Mrs. Roy Bowersox, Westminster; Mrs. Cora Kimmey, Harrisburg; Roy, Benjamin, John and Roland Black, all of Union Bridge; Harry, of Finksburg, and Aubrey Black, of Baltimore.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Grove funeral home, Waynesboro, in charge of the Rev. C. M. Ankerbrand. Burial will be made in Burns Hill cemetery.
