PORT HURON -- Marjorie Mabel Walters, 78, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 19, 1995. She was born July 16, 1916 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Ethel Johnston. She married Glen M. Walters on Nov. 1, 1947.
Mrs. Walters is survived by her husband, Glen; daughter, Carol Walters Reyna; daughters, and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Al (Janet) McDonald, Mr. and Mrs. Roger (Glanda) Toney all of Port Huron; four grandchildren, Allen and Krissy McDonald, Joe Walters Reyna Heather Toney; brothers, George (Dot) Johnston, Harvey (Madeline) Johnston; sister and brother-in-law, Ed (Hazel) Ames; brother-in-law, bill York; sister-in-law, Wanda Walters; several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ester York; brother-in-law, Floyd Walters.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the church of God. The Rev. Charles D. King, Pastor of Church of God will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Edington, Don Edington, Tom Edington, Jeff Ames, Scott Russell, Dan Johnston. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen McDonald and Joe Reyna
