Funeral services will be 1 p.m. in J. J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery.
Mrs. Bechtel was born April 5, 1919, in Hallsville, a daughter of Marion and Matilda Boyer. She married Oscar Bechtel in 1942.
Surviving are her husband; brother, Wilbert of Cicero; sisters, Mrs. Henry (Grace) Fenton of Clinton; Mrs. John (Helen) Samples, Mrs. Melvin (Dorothy) Smelka, both of Decatur; Mrs. Verne (Ruby) Dannison of Cisco.
One sister preceded her in death.
