Fellow contributor William DeCoursey sends the following suggestion:
"I have reason to believe that this is Emanuel Gonsales, bpt. 25 Sep 1720 at Kingston, Ulsser Co., NY, son of Emanuel Gonsales and Rymerig "Rachel" QUICK. He died Mar 1789 at Delaware Twp., Northampton Co. (Now Pike Co., PA.) He married 23 Mar 1750 to Jennetjen "Yamaky" Van Etten, dau. of Jacobus Van ETTEN and Antjen WESTBROOK."∼Son of Manuel Gonsalus Jr. and Rymerig Quick.
Married Jannetje Van Etten.
Had CHildren: Elizabeth Gonsalus Quick, Maria Gonsalus Overfield, Sara Gonsalus Brink, Samuel Gonsalus, Manuel Gonsalus, Catherine Gonsalus Turner, Eleanor Gonsalus Wolfe.
He later Married Rachel Louw
Baptized on 25 September 1720. Religion 1 - - Reformed Dutch Church, Kingston, Ulster County, New York. First Residence - - Kingston, Ulster County, New York. Second Residence - - Delaware Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
