Ethel is preceeded by her husband of 51 years, Edward (Ned) Litzinfer and her two sisters, Ilga Knode and Mae Granger. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Floyd Replogle Sr, daughter Marci Langford (Jerry) and their children, Curt (Brandi) Langford and Ame (Brandon) St. Clair, and daughter Julie Litzinger (kathryn Parks), and great grandchildren Rylin Belle St. Clair, Jayden, Alexa, and Avery Langford. Ethel's step children, Floyd Replogle Jr. (Ruth Ann) and their children, Barbie Spears, Edy Dreith (David), Walter Replogle,daughter Rita Blouke (Peter) and their children, Christine Blouke, Scott Blouke (Nancy), and son Michael Replogle, and son Chester Replogle (Karen) and their children, Danial, Andrew, and Stephen Replogle. Great grandchildren Hannah and Benjamin Spears, Abigail and Oscar Dreith, Andrew Craig and Jocelyn Blouke.
After retiring from Ohio State University in 1976, Ethel and her husband Ned made their home in Lillian, Alabama. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Lillian Women's Club, Lillian Community Club, member of Lillian Editorial Board and the Lillian Volunteer Fire Department. Ethel is known for her great smile and fun loving spirit. She bellieved her family came first and she kept that value with her extended family as well.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Lillian Volunteer Fire Dept, 11331 CR 91S, Lillian, AL 36549.
