Betty was a graduate of Stevens High School in the Class of 1949.
She worked as a private secretary for the Latex Company in Dover, Del. In the early 50's and lived in Bloomfield Hills, MI in the early 70's.
Most of her life time was devoted to being a homemaker to her family.
She was a communicant of St Mary's Church.
Betty was formerly a very active member and Board of Director of the Ladies Union Aid Society of Valley Regional Hospital, a former member of the Jaycee Jane's and participated in many other volunteer programs.
She was the widow of Rocco Carl Monetta whom she married on June 20, 1953 and he died Feb. 27, 2002.
She leaves two sons, Jeffrey M. Monetta and his wife, Karen of Fenton, MI and John M. Monetta of Charlestown; two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Ann M.) Rozwadowski of Hooksett and Mrs. William (Lynn M.) Rodeschin of Lempster; four grandchildren, Jamie & Andrew Atherton, Jeanne & Barry Henry, Nicholas & Kelly Pitts and Layne Pitts; six great-grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" Atherton, Kelsie Atherton, Luke Atherton, Lauryn Henry, Victoria Pitts and Ava Pitts; one sister, Eleanor Ransom of Claremont and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by one sister, Marjorie Angier.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery.
