She resided in Claremont most of her life, lived in North Charlestown for thirteen years and in Charlestown for six years and had been a patient at the Sullivan County Health Care for the past two years. Edna worked at the Ideal Laundry for a short time and as a telephone operator in the Claremont office and retired in 1945. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was active in the Missionary Group.
She leaves her husband, Roy Elmore Curtis of North Charlestown; one daughter, Linda Diane Lee of Alexander, VA; one sister, Edith Owens of Claremont; one brother, Maurice F. White of Claremont and nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Ruth E Roy and Esther Laura Coleman; two brothers, Ernest C White and Raymond F White.
Interment will be at the West Claremont Burial Grounds, in Union Cemetery.
