FRITCH - Max Page, 74, of 407 Overland Trail, died today in his home.

The former owner of Page Grocery Store, he was a native of Gentry, Benton County, Ark., and a Sanford resident from 1938 to 1951. He moved to Fritch in 1951.

Mr. Page was a member of First United Methodist Church, chairman of the Board for Fritch State Bank, a member of the Lions Club. He had also served on the Sanford School Broad and was a member of Fritch Chamber of Commerce and Fritch City Council.

Surviving are his wife, Wilda; three sons, Dan of Farmington, N.M., Ralph of Pueblo, Colo., and Russell of Ada, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy McEntire of Conroe, Mrs. Susan Veal of Fort Worth; two nephews, W.R. Low of Fritch and Norman Page of Amarillo; nine grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

FRITCH - Services for Councilman Max Page, 74, of 407 Overland Trail, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Southern Baptist Church, with the Rev. Michael Conner, pastor of United Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jim Howard, pastor of First Southern Baptist.

The casket will be open until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
