Mrs. Della M. Spaulding, age 77, widow of George L. Spaulding, for many years residents of Loogootee, was found dead in her bed at the home of a daughter, Mrs. George Walker, near St. Michaels early Monday morning. Mrs. Spaulding had been in poor health for some time, suffering from a complication of ailments, and had sever attacks of asthma during the past few weeks and her death was not wholly unexpected.
The deceased was born in Orange county Nov.14,1855. She was married to Mr. Spaulding June 20,1877. Serviving children are Mrs. Joseph Doyle and Warren G. Spaulding of Indianaoplis and Mrs. Walker.
A funeral service was held at 9:00 o'clock this (Thursday) morning from St. Michael's church with burial following in St. Mary's cemetery.
