Roy Axtel Pace, 81, Borger, died Monday, April 1, 1991 in Borger Nursing Center.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of White Rock, Texas, he had been an area resident since 1922. He retired March 2, 1973 a a truck driver for Phillips Petroleum Company. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Eddie of the home; a son, Ray Pace of Weston, Colo.; three step-sons, Wally Criswell of Borger; Mike Criswell of Texas City; Don Criswell of London, Ark.; a step-daughter, Chris Roberts of Borger; a sister, Marie Johnston of Kansas City, No.; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Roy Axtel Pace, 81, Borger, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Brad Reeves, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors inlcude [sic] his wife; one son; three step-sons; one step-daughter; one sister; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be A.C. Winters, Morris Poole, Lefty Dickerson, Kenneth Anderson, Jim Layton, and Tracy Hogan.
