had one daughter - Charlotte Jane
on September 21, 1851. About 6 months before Charlotte was born, William drowned at sea.
Kate remarried prior to 1859 to
Garrett O'Shaughnessy, a member of
the IRB (a forerunner of the IRA).
They had one daughter - Mary in
February, 1859. About 1865, they
came to America, settling in NYC.
After Garrett's death in 1898, Kate
lived with her daughter Mary and her
second husband George C. Miller in the
Greenpoint area of Brooklyn.
One of Catherine's granddaughters (a daughter of Mary) was Sarah (Armstrong) Mooney. Her Find-a-Grave Memorial Number is 153772116.
