Rebecca was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Biechy. She was probably born in Moore Township, Northampton Co, PA. Rebecca married at age 21 in 1857 to John Arndt (1835 - 1907). In 1870, farmer John (35) & Rebecca (33) lived in Moore Township, Northampton Co, with children James (11), Erwin (8), Sarah A. (5), and Tilghman (3). In the 1880 Census, farmer John (45) & Rebecca (44) lived in Moore Township, Northampton Co, with children James (21), Ervin (18), Sarah A. (15), Tilghman (13), Thomas (9), Rosa (8), and Lizzie M. Arndt (6). In 1900, John (64) & Rebecca (63) lived in Moore Township, Northampton Co with no children at home. Husband John passed away on April 29, 1907, in Northampton County, PA, at the age of 71. They had been married 50 years. Rececca died at age 80. She was my Gr. Gr. Grandmother...Peggy Spengler-Moser.
